Hamburg – Massenberg GmbH, a long-established company founded over 100 years ago, is a subsidiary of the insolvent DEUBIS GmbH group of companies and has been looking for a new home for its successful site in Moritzburg, which it has found in the HWP Handwerkspartner Group (HWP). As part of an asset deal, HWP has taken over the Massenberg branch in Moritzburg in Saxony. The approximately 50 skilled employees will become part of the HWP Handwerkspartner Group under the new company name of HWP Massenberg GmbH.
The building protection company focuses on concrete repair and corrosion protection and complements HWP’s service portfolio in the building protection sector, particularly with its expertise in carbon concrete. From its headquarters in Saxony, HWP Massenberg takes on orders from Berlin to Munich and is therefore a real gain for HWP from a regional perspective. Clients, such as utilities or various industries like chemical plants, can look forward to the usual high quality and expertise with a solid and progressive partner in the background. The new location in Saxony will increase HWP’s total output by around 12 million euros.
Robert Unger will remain branch manager and will successfully lead the branch into the future together with his team and HWP’s Head of Building Protection, Patrick Herrmann, who has also been appointed as the new Managing Director of HWP Massenberg GmbH.
