By 18. September 2025No Comments

Hamburg / Duisburg – HWP Handwerkspartner GmbH continues to expand its leading position in structural maintenance: HWP has appointed Heiner Stahl as the new managing director of its Duisburg/Rheinberg structural maintenance unit. At the same time, Frank Baller is taking over as branch manager in Duisburg/Rheinberg. The former Betonerhaltung West in Duisburg will in future operate under the traditional name Massenberg West.

“With Heiner Stahl, we are gaining one of the most respected figures in structural maintenance in Germany. This underlines the HWP Group’s commitment to providing our private and public clients with the leading experts and companies in the industry. The arrival of Heiner Stahl is in line with our latest strategic acquisitions – instakorr, Massenberg, Hydro-Tech, Jansch Spezialmontagen, and our new unit in Munich – and thus completes the team of top executives in our group,” emphasizes Björn H. Robens, shareholder at Goldbeck Robens Industrial Partners and Chairman of the advisory board of the HWP Group.

Frank Baller, a highly experienced industry expert, is taking over as branch manager in Duisburg/Rheinberg. He has more than 30 years of experience in structural maintenance, particularly in the field of bridge renovation, and complements the management team with his extensive expertise in the implementation of challenging projects.

“The strengthening of our management team in Duisburg underscores the great importance of the North Rhine-Westphalia region for our group and illustrates the strategy of our anchor families Goldbeck and Robens to position the HWP Group as a leading company in structural maintenance in the long term,” explains Dr. Daniel Häußermann, spokesman for the management of the HWP Group.

Renamed Massenberg West

The Duisburg unit will operate under the traditional name Massenberg West in future. With the acquisition of the Moritzburg Massenberg unit in 2024, HWP has aqcuired the naming rights for the entire group of companies. For decades, the Massenberg brand has stood for the highest quality, close customer relationships, and innovative strength in structural maintenance. The Moritzburg branch has already made an extremely successful start to the HWP Group – proof of the appeal of this traditional brand, which has its roots in Essen and Duisburg.
