Hamburg – The HWP Group welcomes two new, important companies in the field of structural maintenance to the group at the turn of the year 2025.
HWP is very pleased to announce two important strategic partnerships for our core business of structural maintenance. “With the founders of instakorr, Gregor Gerhard and Armin Faulhaber, and Hydro-Tech founder Jürgen Fritsche, we have been able to attract three of the most high-profile entrepreneurs in the industry to our HWP Group. instakorr, as Germany’s market leader in corrosion protection, and Hydro-Tech, the market leader in ultra-high-pressure water jetting, perfectly round off the capabilities of our portfolio of now eleven top companies. Together with the Goldbeck family, we have successfully achieved the milestone of positioning the HWP Group as the market and technology leader in structural maintenance,” emphasises Björn H. Robens, Chairman of the Advisory Board and shareholder of the HWP Group.

Hannes Brandtstäter, CFO of HWP Handwerkspartner, adds: “Following the acquisition of the long-established building maintenance company Massenberg in summer 2024, we are now delighted to add Hydro-Tech and instakorr to our building maintenance division. With our highly specialised companies and their approximately 400 experienced employees and managers, we can now offer our customers solutions of every complexity in the promising structural maintenance sector throughout Germany. We warmly welcome all new employees to the HWP family.”

About Hydro-Tech
Hydro-Tech is the market-leading refurbishment and ultra-high pressure water jetting specialist for concrete, underground car parks and facades, floor and wall coating, waterproofing and underground car park maintenance in southern Germany. Special buildings such as the Olympic Tower in Munich, major industrial projects and many high-calibre property management companies are on the impressive list of references. Hydro-Tech, with its headquarters in Bobingen near Augsburg, employs over 70 highly specialised staff and has probably the most modern machinery in Germany. “Hydro-Tech, with its founder Jürgen Fritsche, stands for absolute top quality, great employees with outstanding team spirit, an excellent customer base and is therefore an important pillar for our Germany-wide leading concrete refurbishment and corrosion protection unit,” says Björn-Hendrik Robens, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the HWP Group. “We are becoming part of the largest network in structural maintenance in Germany – a step that opens up unimagined possibilities. The expertise of Hydro-Tech, combined with the power of HWP, will catapult our company to the next level: faster projects, an extended reach and access to state-of-the-art technology,” describes Jürgen Fritsche, describing the promising partnership.

About instakorr
instakorr, based in Schaafheim, Hesse, has been a market leader in the cathodic corrosion protection of steel in concrete, the monitoring and corrosion monitoring of reinforced concrete structures, the repair of reinforced concrete structures and the development of protection methods for cathodic corrosion protection (CCP) since it was founded in 2015. The patented, modular hardware and software solution CAB|ONE developed by instakorr for controlling CP systems and measuring electrochemical chloride extraction helps to prevent corrosion damage and thus avoid costly restoration measures in concrete. The managing partners and founders of instakorr, Gregor Gerhard and Armin Faulhaber, are looking forward to the next step in their company’s history, which has been successful right from the start. “The vision of HWP Handwerkspartner has excited us and, after careful consideration, has convinced us: together we are even stronger in the market, more attractive as an employer and even more stable and growth-oriented for the future,” says Gregor Gerhard. Armin Faulhaber adds: “We are bursting with ideas and innovations. As a partner of a larger group that understands craftsmanship, demands and promotes innovation and has adopted entrepreneurship as a guiding principle in its partner companies, we can do much, much more with what we have created with our employees. We are all looking forward to that!

With the 6 top companies that joined the HWP Group in 2024, the HWP Group is reinforcing its claim to position itself as a quality leader in the skilled trades sector and will continue its growth trajectory in 2025.
